Does the product give a concentration?

"A 4500 mg/L solution of Potassium phosphate."

It also says that a 2.5 mL dose increases phosphate by 0.15 mg/L (0.05 mg/L phosphorus) in 80L (20 US gallons).

Using that information above...
0.15/0.03=5
2.5/5=0.5

So 0.5 mL increases PO4 by 0.03 ppm in 20 gallons.

(500G/20)x0.5 = 12.5 mL

My math says you need to use 12.5 mL of Seachem Flourish Phosphorus to increase PO4 by 0.03 ppm in 500 gallons.

-----------------------

Seachem also provides this formula: 0.8vp=m, where v= volume of tank in gallons, p=desired phosphate increase and m=volume of product to use in mL. For example to raise 20 gallons to 0.1 mg/L phosphate you would use: 0.8*20*0.1=1.6 mL.

So to double check, let's use their formula...

0.8(500)(0.03)= 12 mL

------------------------

Looks like they match. :)
