I have a new eshopps psk 75 protein skimmer. All it seems to do is fill my tank with micro bucks. Adjusted per instructions, foam just below the cone. Bubbles seem to work their way down to the adjustment tube and get expelled into my sump. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

New skimmes require anywhere from a few days to a couple weeks to break in. Giving them a quick scrub down in vinegar to remove the resin on the acrylic help out a bunch. Other than that, you set it on the low side and it will calm down by itself, then you can fine tune it.

Thank you. I'll pull it out tomorrow, wipe it down with vinegar and let her run. Sounds like the bubbles are s normal thing for a week or two?

Yea, more or less its just one of those things ya gotta deal with when its new. Happens to darn near everyone. You could also put a filter sock over the return line to catch the bubbles.

IF YOU HAD TO OPERATE EVERYTHING ELSE MANUALLY, WHICH AUTOMATED SYSTEM WOULD YOU KEEP?
