My Plathoa seems really unhappy, it was fine then I had a tragic accident where my heater broke and it heated the tank to 100 degrees. Even my GSP died but he stayed strong hasn’t looked happy since that was a month ago. The other zoa had just multiplied since the incident and what started with 2 heads has gotten to over 20 in just 4 months the tank is 4 months old. What do I do to help my paly.

To me it looks like it's placement related. Try putting it somewhere where it can touch more rock like you have the second colony and it will start dropping heads.
