Help with T5 ballast

I have a work horse 5 ballast that was running 4 24" T5s, I want to use it for 2 48" T5s. Here is my question, the ballast has four red wires (one for each bulb). Is it as simple as hooking up two red wires to one 48" bulb or do I have to do something different? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can use this and enter the lamp type and wattage and then it will show you a wiring diagram.

It appears you have to connect (2) red wires together for each bulb like you thought.

Paul is correct. Splice 2 reds and bring a single red to each bulb.
