Hi,

I just bought an Apex EL and am installing it today. Unfortunately, the temp probe was not connected to the plastic connector that inserts into the brain unit. Please see the picture. The wires don't even seem to be stripped.

Does anyone know if I can insert these wires into the plastic connector myself rather than wait for Neptune support? I've never done this so hoping for some electrically gifted folks to chime in.

Thanks!

The temp probe should have like a little phone jack on the end to plug into the controller.
If it doesn’t, you’ll need to get a replacement probe from whoever you got it from.

It takes a special crimp tool to do it right

I'd just have them send you a new one. Shouldn't take too long.
