My gf is at the beach and is getting me a coral. I need ideas or suggestions. I currently have a IM 15g with 2 clowns, a gold hammer(2 head), a blue green Duncan, a green slimer acro, and 2 small zoanthids. I’m looking for something around 20-40 dollars maybe. Anything helps just tell me a coral you like in that price range and easy-ish to keep! Thanks

Like going to a fish store and bringing it back. Like a gift or when you go somewhere u bring something back for someone
Sorry… your wording sounded like she was bringing you a coral from the beach.

Nepthea, mushrooms, acans, Zoas, Kenya tree, frogspawn are all pretty easy and hardy. There are lots of choices in the $20-$40 range.

Ok let me clear it up more. She is there at the beach I’m not. She wants to know what coral she should get me.

Friend, please clarify: is "the beach" a euphemism (a joke) or do you have a coral store called The Beach in your area? I think you're confusing all of us here lol!

You're original wording did kind of make it seem like your girlfriend was out scouring the local beach area looking for just the right coral for your tank, and the only thing I could think of why she may need $20 for is lunch on the boardwalk :)

I do think the other replies have really said it well, there's lots of easy, inexpensive corals for your tank, but don't take it from us, do your research so you know for sure what you're getting and how to place it and care for it. There's lot's and lot's of info out there, countless "Top ten beginner coral" videos and posts here on R2R that should help guide you, just take a look for them.

And to me, there's nothing wrong with doubling up on something you already have, especially if it's doing well in your tank. For example, you have a gold hammer, maybe get a green one, or a frogspawn that should also grow well in similar conditions? You have Zoa's, they come in a near unlimited amount of colors. Nothing wrong with having two or three of something that's doing well for you, especially if you have some different colors.

As always, best of luck with whatever you guys get!

We certainly don't have to be friends, I was just trying to be nice.

Also does anyone have tips for growing Arcos fast. I’m spot feeding reef roids to my one acro. And also I bought this acro as a tester bc I’m starting to like acros. I bought it for 5 dollars and some tax.

Danget. I hope you know I was joking
I did not know, but if you were no worries! I hope you know that when I say "friend" that's just my way of saying "buddy" or "dude" or "guy". It's just my way of trying to be nice online :-)
