im doing a water change to morrow will that help or hurt it
Weekly w.c. should help keep alk. In good range.
Check parameters of new water good to know what your adding.
To much parameter swing is not recommended.
As stated above you need to raise that alk. Slowly.
Magnesium test required too

What is your
Mg?
Ph?
Yes your Alk is low, two part will not be your answer unless you know all of your parameters.
Backing soda will raise you alk and also you Ph. You do not want to raise anything to fast. Mg should be running 1320 based on your Ca.
