Can you get a clean shot with no blues?

The 2nd photo is clear but can't see what you are referring to. I see to different zoas.

How old is your tank? Looks fairly new.

But what kind is it? The green ones don’t grow because the other ones are taking over

I marked this exhibit 1 and 2..

Which are you referring to? Just looks like new zoas. Just a rock with hitchhikers.

Just a hitchhiker zoa. Id be happier with it as its probably a more uncommon version rather the dragon eye.

How new is your tank setup?

We had a 20 gallon tank since last year September and that zoa was In there. We upgraded 2 months ago to a reefer 350 and just transferred the corals 2 weeks ago

The reason I ask is a tank takes 6 months +/- to stabilize all parameters. looks as though you have new sand and rock. Zoas like a little dirty water to really thrive. However something must be going right for those new zoas to continue growing.

we have the tank now running a little over two month..we took our old rocks and put them in the sump to circle faster.
we still had a couple in the 20 gallon.
all the corals look healthy but the one were writing about is growing like crazy.
I was just wondering if it is a pest or something like that..

That's a very nice looking tank and putting old rock in the sump to help cycle was a good move. Please keep us updated.
