Help

That definitely looks like ich to me. I would start working on getting a 20g long to QT all fish.

One other tip is that you could try posting in the Fish Disease Forum instead of here in Tank Emergency. The guys I tried to tag usually watch the disease forum closely. Good luck.

Thank you so much for your help I sure do appreciate it. I started that treatment last night

What kinda treatment did you start? Different tank or in DT?

Not in a separate tank it is in the same.

That’s ich, and copper power for 30 days in QT.

14 days of it is moved to another completely sterile QT that shares nothing with the first.

Leave display tank fallow for 76 days.

Ok so need to put all fish in the QT TANK and treat them with copper is there a preferred kind that I need to use

It can be ick or velvet but looks more like ich. A copper based treatment is your answer. Do this is Quarantine if at all possible, starting with a freshwater bath and begin treatment. As the cysts may be within your tank, you may have to do a NO fish regimen in your display tank for 10 weeks to assure no cysts are alive at reintroduction.

Ok I will start today as soon as I can what would you advise on the copper solution?

Copper power at 2.0 PPM tested by a Hanna Copper Checker is my suggestion.
