Thats a montipora? Why do you have it on the sand under a rock? Montipora likes high light and high flow, it should be up on top of the the rocks

I can’t get him off the frag plug at all he’s been glued really well

You’re unable to wedge a screwdriver between Monty and frag plug?
I’m afraid to hurt them with screwdriver I’ve had slips before and it didn’t end well for the coral or my hands

Can you snap off the the small section and make it a disk? Glue that to the rock.
Yeah I can try that I hope he makes it I’m afraid it’s to late tho

I am confused....can't you just glue the frag plug directly to the rock? Healthy montis grow quick....it will cover the frag plug if that is the concern. Kinda hard to tell from the pic how healthy it is though....still seems to have color so I wouldn't call it a goner. They are pretty resilient as far as hard coral go.

I’m going to glue it to the higher portion of my rock structure this afternoon when I get off work and go from there I attached a pic of my setup taken last night
