I have a blind clownfish l got a week ago. She has a mate. Shes also got that face deformity with the gills that clowns sometimes have. Today l noticed her bottom jaw is almost completely caved in and gone, her fins have some tears and shes missing some of her slime coat on the side. I dont know if she hurt herself on a rock or if the other is attacking her?? Or is it just her deformity??

tank is 32 gallon biocube. Only these two clowns, 4 hermits and a tiny shrimp l dont know what type, maybe camel? Its like a centimeter long.

This clown seems to be a victim of aggression and is very battered as you likely see and the deformity of mouth also seems to be very infected. Isolation , and treatment in a quarantine tank is needed quickly as this fish likely is unable to eat and breathe normally. Treatment would be Seachem Kanaplex or maracyn 2 with added aeration via air stone

Sorry to see - that is some severe damage. +1 on isolation and treating with antibiotic.

no and paraguard is a low level treatment that rarely what its claim is by the manufacturer. Its better than nothing but ultimately a broad spectrum treatment like Kanaplex would be best bet

As a dip yes
Okay my LFS is closed now and amazon has a delivery of next wednesday for that med. Would a paraguard dip help until l can get to the LFS? And if so how do I do this dip? And where should I put her after the dip? My main DT is down due to velvet. The remaining 3 fish are in my QT tank being treated. This is some serious **** luck lve had this week

Petsmart and Petco may have maracyn 2. QT tank may be best location at this time as long as there is no aggression by other fish in the tank

That works
Please realize, this is a long shot for recovery and hope for the best but prepare for worse outcome.

Thank you all for trying to help. She passed a few minutes ago.
Oh no - poor fish was in distress.
Keep this info should you ever encounter bacterial issue
