I'm in the middle of setting up a new tank and I'm going with a herbie drain. I'm curious about the siphon though. The main drain is 1.5 inch, the bulk head is 1 inch. I was going to run 1 inch pvc over to the sump inlet. The sump is a trigger cr44 and the inlet to that is 1.5 inch. I was wondering if going 1 inch pvc to the sump and then 1.5 inch going into the sump will mess up the full siphon and cause it to gurgle or anything?
