Not seeing your point. In the one with the flash having the extra white light washes it out. I mean I understand. what you're trying to say, but unless you run straight whites, the flash pics don't represent what someone will see in their tank, and in my opinion, what you have is a very poor representation of what someone will most likely see in their tank (like I said, unless they're running straight whites). Also, the flash casts a nasty shadow that you won't have to deal with under any light. ...so I guess in one since you're right...it does look very different...but I believe we disagree as to what qualifies as a true representation. ...but try finding any source that suggests using flash photography on aquariums...you won't find it. Photography experts (not coral vendors) recommend against using a flash.

Actually, after looking back at your first two pics (one with flash and one without) I actually don't think they look like different animals...just the second one looks like you have too much light on the subject (hence the white/yellow glare). The same thing happens if you take pictures of people with too much light.
