Hermit hitchhiker

Can anyone I’d what’s growing in hermits back?….. looks like worm or brittle star….. there’s very fine fur coming of them

meh. they usually don't last long from what I've read. Some people seem to think they cause issues but I've read stuff like this; Corals hosting symbiotic hydrozoans are less susceptible to predation and disease so i don't know really.

Going to pull the hermit out and scrub him I think

I’ve never had issues. But as mentioned, others claim them to be invasive.

Thanks for the information, couldn’t see a glow in them but very interesting..
