One of my big blue legged hermits has ditched his shell and stuck his body down a crack next to my hammer.

Im going to drop a big tigernassarius snail shell right next to him so he can move in

hermits are so weird.
I’ve seen mine do this when they are robbed or couldn’t find a bigger shell.

Yeah, figured that was the case.

but there’s a 1.5” diameter shell less than 8” away from him. Guess he’s just lazy. Or felt threatened and needed an immediate hideyhole

I wonder how long he’s survive if I spot fed him 3 times a week?
