Problem was you put it on your counter instead of in the tank. :xd:

Ha Ha! Try target feeding it and I am sure he will pull through. Be sure to hold it over the sink so you don't make a mess on the counter top.

I heard if you take crayons and rub them on it then the color will come back and it will come back no problem

In all seriousness though... This is what can happen when you dont research what you buy first.

I bought this coral for $100 and a week later it looked like this. Everything else in my tank is flourishing except for this coral. My LFS blames it on me, particulary my placement under 8W lights. I beg to differ, but what do I know. I am an inferior reef keeper.

A word to the newbies. This is a sellers market, take your time and research what you are buying first. In the case of LFS VS you.... You will ALWAYS lose.

8W lights? Are you serious? How big is your tank? 3 Gallons?

I knew you were being sarcastic in the first post but am not sure how to read this.
