Just wanted to say hello. I've been lurking here for about a month after finding out I might be scoring a system from a friend of my son's who got too busy and was getting out of the hobby. Well, bought a few of the recommended books, been reading a lot of threads and feel I could probably pass a 101 class in marine aquarium keeping. Back in the day I had a successful Cichlid breeding tank (the kids were young and I wanted to teach them the life cycle), this will be my 1st foray into saltwater. I am just totally amazed at the expertise and helpfulness that is shown on this forum and look forward to being a part of the community. Any and all suggestions will be appreciated. Over the weekend I got a call and it was my son and he was on his way down with the tank. So I am now the proud and apprehensive owner of a 90 g tank with a 20 g sump, stand and misc. other items. If I can figure out how to upload photos I'll document my build and hopefully get some feedback from experienced reefers. My goal is a mixed reef with a fairly benign fish selection and if I can have a reef that is half as nice as some I have seen here I'll be a happy man!
