Ok i like having snails in my 30 gal reef but i can't keep them alive the large turbos get knocked over and die and the blue spotted watchmen i have take anything that will fit in his mouth to the tiger pistol shrimp and i guess he likes the taste of them so what's a guy to do?

wow..... the snails in my system do the same but they dont die. HAve you checked your water perameters?

Is the turbo a Turbo fluctuosa, an Astrea, or a Mexican turbo? They all look the same and as far as I know might be the same. The Mexican turbo is the only one I know of out of the three that does not have the "I've-turned-over-and-I-can't-get-back-upright" problem. The others fall from rocks, get turned over by tank mates, fall from the glass, and other ways to get turned over. They do not have the ability to turn themselves over. They eat junk in a saltwater tank effectively, however.
