Welcome! I’m very interested in hearing about your experiences in the hobby living in China! I’m sure it’s very different in some ways compared to here in the US.
I’ve heard that there’s a much wider variety of coral species available in the US, is that true?

You're right, I feel like the flow was too strong before, which is why I lost a few pieces. Regarding feeding, is it better to use powdered coral food or liquid coral food?
I prefer frozen

It’s probably true. The US is huge and we have a lot of coral farms here. Everything from warehouse sized farms down to people doing it in their garages. Even my local LFS up here in very northern ca has everything from torches and scolys to high end sps.
What do you have available where you live?

Here are some of the brands I usually use to feed my fish and Torches—I bet they're a bit different from what you have over there. I generally target feed my Torches once every 15 days. Do you have any favorite brands to recommend? I’m curious if I can find them here in China. Haha!

Actually, we have all of those here in Guangzhou, China—Torches, Scolys, and high-end SPS—but they are mostly from Indonesia. To be honest, I feel like the variety, coloration, and overall health aren't quite as amazing as what you guys have in the States.
I’ve been watching the international version of TikTok, and I see so many incredible coral shows in the US. Visiting one in person is a lifelong dream of mine! But unfortunately, I’m already 37... I’m starting to feel like an old man! Haha.

We do have some very high quality farms here. Are you able to purchase large colonies there for a decent price? Since they are coming directly from the source in Indonesia. You’ll have to post a picture of your local shops!

If you ever make it to Cali you should make a trip around to see as much of the state as you can. We have some pretty amazing national parks!
