Hi everyone!

I'm Liz, and I'm just getting started on my first reef tank. I'm starting with a 10g tank and I think a few soft corals to get the hang of things. I'd love some advice on my current supply list to see if I'm missing anything important or am getting anything unnecessary :)

Current Supply Shopping List:
10g tank
14w light
100w heater (up to 40g)
Tetra Whisper Power Filter 10g
digital thermometer
hydrometer
Oolitic Aragonite substrate (10lbs)
Instant Ocean Sea Salt
130 GPH powerhead
API pH test kit
API reef master test kit

Once I have everything ordered and setup, I'll be getting the dry rock and soft coral frags! I'm sure I'll be asking a lot of questions on here, so thanks in advance to everyone :)

Hello and welcome !!!
These guys are crazy helpful and have some really solid, awesome advice. You’ll get a ton of help here!!
Can’t wait to see your journey!

Welcome to R2R! The only thing I don't see on your list is aquascaping materials (rock). If you are planning to start with mounted frags a small frag rack or some egg crate could also be useful. Good Luck!

Hello from Knoxville here too! Saw your older thread here. Are you still in the hobby? I'm just starting out a couple months in with a 30 gal (been doing freshwater for years) . Happy to trade gear for corals if you need anything!
