HI, I am John...
after about 40 years in fresh water hobby, I finally took a plunge with a 22 gallon nano tank and started cycling since yesterday only.
This has been a both exciting and nerve wrecking experience til now. Had to dump out about a gallon of salt water to finally
match the salinity at 35ppt... horrible testing values due to mistakes and such...
However at the 2nd day, my tank is 24C, Ammonia at 1.5~2 ppm (used Brightwell Quick Cycl), NO2 at about 0.25 ppm and NO3 at
about 2 ppm ATM. (I started cycling the marco rock and filter media for about a week before the tank arrived if that counts)
Looking forward to add a fish in about 4 weeks :)
Thanks for your time reading this noob's introduction.
