High aluminium levels

I have extremely high aluminium levels in my reef like at the 240 range. I suspect it's due to my marine pure cube and spheres I have. If I remove them will the aluminium levels drop or do I have to do more water changes.

Taking out those items may help the amount from increasing, but a combination of water changes and GFO, MetaSorb, or PolyFil are often necessary to remove aluminum.
