high levels ok?

my cal,alk, and mag are high in mixed reef tank, is it to high for corals like sps, torches,hammers

The calcium can come down a bit. Grew plenty of SPS with alkalinity at 9.5-10 dkh, calcium at 450ish, magnesium at 1480-1500+. With those numbers you'll want some nutrients in the tank with intense lighting.

Levels are fine as long as you have a decent amount of nutrients(NO3, PO4). If your nutrients are lacking, you might want them more in the 420 CAL - 7DKH range. I always keep mu mag in the 1350 range.

been trying to feed more to see if goes up, also ph fluctuates from 7.97-7.69 can't get it it up to 8.3 gonna try one more water change since i put hose from skimmer out window to see what happens

With a ULNS(ultra low nutrient system) you would want your levels closer to natural sea water.

420 CAL
7DKH ALK
1250 MAG

With no nutrients and high levels you will start to see your corals struggling.

Could be multiple factors, but the most obvious is your high alk and NO N and P. Lower alk and get your N and P detectable and perhaps that will help. What about your lights?

try turning down the lights some, are you running any filter media? GFO, carbon, etc

with GFO, either remove it completely for now, or if you want to run some, cut the amount down to 1/3-1/2 of what you're using now, remove the carbon and try skimming dry. This will help to increase nutrients, along with feeding your fish more.

Thats going to be a problem with high alk.
