@Falreef I started by running a biopellet reactor and didn't really see any improvement for the first 2 weeks, now 3-4 weeks in I started running a macro algae reactor as well but more for the refugium benefits. I have lowered my nitrated to around 15-25 in 4 weeks and they seem stable not going to try and lower them below 10 so if I see any more drops will reduce the biopellet load. But in my case biopellets did the trick, ALso have been doing 20% water changes weekly as well as sifting the sandbed and sump getting rid of the detritus that had accumulated there due to the lack of attention on my part, so basically good husbandry + biopellets have been working for me. Keep everything clean clean and do regular water changes that's my advise.

Another thing make sure that if your using RO/DI as your water. Make sure your filters and DI are working good. Check your new saltwater mix to make sure your not introducing any nitrates or phoshate from the source.
