Hi guys, been a busy 3 mths and I’ve been slacking on the 450 gallon sps tank. Everything looks fine and healthy. Sps growth and colour is fine. But I did my 1st nutrient test in 3 mths and my po4 is super high at 0.5 and nitrate is at max of hanna checker at 75.( so it could b much higher )

Suprisinhly nothing is browning out . My red sps still looks red yellow sps still looks yellow. Anyways dosed 20 ml of tropic Marin elimi phos and 1.5 ml elimi np to bring it down slowly. Any other advice on what I shud do ?

Fishes looks super healthy and fat
Algae side only the longer green ones growing in my wave pamps. Besides that not much of an issue Mebbe cos I have a lot of tangs.

Got this algae growing on the pamps. And overflow box. Anyone know their name? I guess this is caused by the high po4?

My tank is mostly SPS and i run high parameters also.
Nitrate around 35-40 and Phosphate is currently at 0.2
Nothing is browning out and most are showing awesome growth - I just think that as long as its not a sudden change, most coral is fairly adaptable.
If your going to lower them, probably want to do it very slowly just to not shock anything.

I would not assume there is a problem since some great tanks have higher nutrient levels than yours. There are many ways to reduce nutrients, but my primary advice is to go slow if you do.
