Hey I was wondering if anyone has any real understanding of ORP. I recently upgraded my tank about 3 month a ago transferring a lot of live stock over to the new tank . My apex would normally read about 350 ORP on the old tank . The new tank overs between 425 or higher now . Does anyone know what this means ?

It means nothing.
A single ORP value itself is not useful because it can be affected by many things you don't care about - feedings, water changes etc.
If you were using ozone, then ORP would be a very good way to track it.
