I have read many mixed feelings and opinions on UV Sterilizers. I would like to get one for my reef tank and am looking for what most of you would do in my position. Most people say that bigger is better. I currently have a 210/w 40 Gallon Sump. I am looking ant "Emperor (Pentair) High Output UV's and the 80 Watt and 50 Watt are around the same price. I plan on upgrading to a bigger tank in the next couple of years. Can I use a 80 Watt HO or should I go with the 50 Watt HO. Thanks,

Tank size has less to do with UV sizing than does the water flow rate pushing through it.
