I turned the AC off in my fish room and forgot to turn it back on today. The tank temp went up to 84 degrees. I turned the AC back on and the temp dropped down to 79.

I'm curious to know what I can expect from this one time high temp event and if there's anything I can do to mitigate what may be coming to my corals. At the time, everything seemed to be doing well and it was business as usual in the tank.

Temperature swings are natural. 84 is the high mark of having to worry about it. Some coral may be upset but everything will probably be fine.
