Stainless steel euro hinges are easy enough, but I need some that:

Screw to the face frame of the cabinet,
Don't poke into the cabinet very far, maybe 1/4" or so at most,
And are adjustable...

This would work.

This wouldn't.

This is why.

My sump fills almost the entire space.

Anyone have a good source?

Sorry, I missed that. How about sealing them with polyurethane, ie. liquid plastic?

I was thinking about something like that, but I think it would either interfere with the hinge's motion, or just wouldn't work. As of now, I am thinking I may just have to replace them from time to time...

I coated mine with marine spar varnish. The real stuff you buy at boat shops. Has held up good. Can't remember the name on the can though. Coated the entire inside of the cabinet to keep moisture away from the wood. It's very humid here in Oregon at times and I didn't want mildew and mold.

Good to know. If you happen to find the name of that stuff, let me know.

I think any good boat shop marine spar would work. Just stay away from the kinda fake stuff they sell in the big box stores.
