Hey guys, put my blue tang in about a week ago and I’m noticing some light scratches on his skin I’m wondering if this is normal for this when adding to a new tank? Maybe he’s just not settled in? I haven’t seen him itching or anything and he was quarantined for 2.5 weeks and looked very healthy. He sleeps in the rocks so that could be it? Please let me know if I should be worried , pictures don’t show much but I will post.

I would think so, they love to wedge in places. Mine always looks like he has indentations from the rock work

Can you take a couple of pics under white light? Yes, they do like to slide into rock structures and dart when startled into any openings.
