Apone re checking it looks like one of the worms survived. There also appears to be a brown tunnel just to the right amd what looks to be a red flake that kinda looks like an acro algea (prob not but the best way I can describe)

I probably coulda soaked them in the dip longer, I soaked for about 10 mins instead of the 15min recommendation... I was a little scared as it was the first time using bayer and I'm still only 5 months into the reef scene.

Any and all info would be helpful
Thanks guys

Which dip did you use out of curiosity? Some worms can seal themselves off and survive dips.

So those tiny holes out of the skeleton you think are pest? Id hate to cover up heads... The worm and tunnel im sure are pests and will take care of... I'll also get better pics of the "red flake"

Ah I never use bayer due to its risks to human health but there is no doubt about it being strong lol.

Only branching hammers get new heads branching on the side but the new branches are not hollow in appearance. I think your hammer is the kind to split a head by forming two mouths and then a skeleton down the middle over time.
