Hitch hiker on my frag plug? Frag is pulsing xenia.

Does it have antenna that come out? If so then probably a spionid worm. Normal critter, most tanks have them.

Appears to be. Would it irritate the pulsing xenia to the point its mostly closed?

not usually but they produce strands that can irritate nearby corals.
