I just upgraded a 29 gallon saltwater tank to a 55 gallon saltwater. I kept all the biomaterial in the filter but changed out sand with new live sand. Live rock was also transferred over as was ornament reef. The 29 gallon tank had been up and running since November with the skimmer and no problems. Now with the 55-gallon I am getting a tremendous amount of air bubbles I have made adjustments to no end taking the skimmer apart and checked to make sure nothing was clogged up it is still making lots of air bubbles in the tank. I'm thinking maybe this tank is not cycled enough yet? As far as livestock in the tank, I have one Urgent two starfish two Blue Reef Chromis and one Lionfish. Do I keep running the skimmer until the air bubbles go away or wait till the tank is possibly fully cycled? Don't want to kill my fish & CUC.

Something has to have changed if the skimmer was OK before and is making too many bubbles now.
