I want to mod my filter to house my heater and media.

Anyone have any diy plans or advice?

What media are you running? Have you considered a reactor? Heater is a bit tough unless you find a heater strong enough and small enough to fit into that space. I'm guessing you're trying to clean up your display tank of equipment and cords? Have you thought about drilling your tank, assuming it's not tempered? Or a HOB overflow?

No definitely don't want to drill. I'm in an apartment, no room for the tools or work.

Ya, the heater fits on a slant.

I run floss, carbon, phosguard, purigen

I've decided to just keep it in the tank.
If I go to the rimless 25g, I'll need an upgraded heater, which definitely won't fit.

My filter is 3 months old so I won't change it at this point.

It's a great filter
