Recently set up a CPR Aquafuge 2 HoB Refugium on my tank. Anyone have experience in growing chaeto with it? Already using a different light with a more pink/red light spectrum I've seen posted here often. My main concern is the filtration. The chaeto doesn't seem to "tumble" in the fuge, should I add a small powerhead?

Also, in the future, should I just allow the fuge to get "dirty?" I'll add a small cuc once it matures a bit, but I'm assuming the idea is to allow it to get dirty instead of the display.

You can just flip the chaeto rather than putting powerhead in. And no, do not let it get dirty. Dirty refugiums are such a mess to deal with and trim
