I’m not in the states so sorry I can’t advise you. Hope you have a great time though.

I’m going to Washington DC and New York in late July and start August.
Is there any places in that area, a danish reefer must visit?
In DC your not too far from baltimore harbor where you can see the aquarium.

When you visit NY, there's Long Island Aquarium. Also for fish store worth visiting is ManhattanAquariums over I believe on 36th and 10th st.

The National Aquarium in DC is a great place to visit if you have the time!
The National Aquarium in DC has been closed for over 12 years. The National Aquarium is now located in Baltimore. The old National Aquarium, ran for over 140 years in the Commerce Building, till it was shuttered. Also the Huge Saltwater Aquarium in the Smithsonian, was dismantled even further back.

I just found out that the Smithsonian Natural History Museum, has a massive Reef Aquarium and Exhibit. Their old Reef Aquarium was dismantled in 2001, and some Rich Donor had a Trophy Room installed. I’ll try and go since I’m near DC and report back.

Welcome to Reef2Reef!!! I'm not in DC or NY, but glad you are here!
