Holy Grail Vs Banana torch?

Hey all! This may be a silly question but I have been keeping fish for a while and really starting to keep corals! My dream torch is a banana torch but I also have a holy grail coming. What is the difference between the two? To me they look similar but I could be mistaken! Thanks all

It’s mainly down to the amount of gold, yellow and green that change what each torch is from what I can work out.

A Holy Grail is the base lineage to the Banana from what I can understand - Banana is just a new Holy Grail lineage that occurred, similarly to Torch of the Gods, Sun God, Ultragrail Cotton Candy etc. They’re just different lineages of Holy Grail torch.

Now I could be totally wrong here - I’ve just been going off what I have seen in the LFS and from being in the trade. @VintageReefer will likely have a better defining way to work out the differences.

They are completely different

A holy grail is bright green with a shimmer of yellow. Most of the time hard to capture the yellow. It’s almost like a yellow sheen. In certain angles and lighting. In my experience most grails end up losing the yellow I don’t know why

I plan on buying some bananas. But if it says "Holy Grail" before it, I don't plan on buying any of those.
I can buy a politician for less. I'm just not that fanatical. Unholy Peon Torches really aren't that far off anyway for 200 dollars less.

Speaking of which...I screwed up so bad not long ago ordering groceries. Normally I buy like 8 bananas...well I wasn't paying attention and bought 8 bunches of them and laughed when they arrived...anyone want a banana?I'm going to start throwing them at people who pass by or holding them out my window at people at stoplights.I don't know whatto do with them.

Here’s one that I was told is a banana grail (from Malaysia). I’ve had it about 4 months and it’s been surprisingly hardy. Doesn’t close up nearly as often as the indo torches I’ve had.
