Does anyone make their ow food. I have seen in Publix they have a Frozen Melody, which is pieces of clam, squid, white fish, shrimp, and octopus. I was thinking of thawing it out, using a blender to chop it all up then freeze it again. Or would it be better to thaw it out. Does anyoe do anything like this? Do you add anything to the food in the way of vitamins or anything?

I make my own food. I make a giant batch and then freeze it... here's a few of the things that I mix together:

Shrimp
Mussels
Clams
Oysters
Frozen sea urchin
Frozen fish roe
Died seaweed
Powdered sea greens
Some marine flakes
Super Selco

You need to be careful when looking at the Frozen Medoly, it has preservatives that i would not add to my tank IMO. I looked at some that Sam's has and it was loaded with chemical preservatives. I get my ingredents from a bait store on the coast, I have family on Dauphin Island, Al and when I go to visit, I bring back my ingredients.

IMO, yes. Frozen bait does not have any preservatives. Thats what I get for mine.
