received my ati hybrid t5/led powermodule in the mail today. Tank is a money pit lol. Switching from radion G3 pros. The pros haven't been bad but I just feel like the t5 guys pull better color and growth from there sps. Got the hybrid so I can keep some shimmer. This light is big and heavy. I'm scared to hang it haha

Following. Let us know how it goes. I'm gonna try a few things with my radions before I scrap them. so it will be nice to see if you get dramatic enough results to justify the expense.

I will say when I switched to the sps-AB scedule about 3 months ago I have seen much better growth and color so if you're not using it, try it. When my tank was lps and soft corals the radions were great under the coral radiance default. Im going to keep the radions for a future frag tank or lps setup. Hoping this works. Expensive test if it doesn't work much better

Are you happy with the Matrixx II? I have a 48" 8 bulb but gave not got it hung over the tank yet. I was wondering if it was as good as the ATI fixture. Either way, with 8- 4foot T5 bulbs, i don't think it will matter much.

I'll end your hope for you...best choice ever!!!

I have a 36inch 8 bulbs and I love that thing. Iam planning my next build and it's gonna have 2x 48 inch 8 bulb over an 8 feet tank...

So far I can say I definitely did do the right decision. The bulbs aren't even broken in and with the less set to a royal blue over the t5s the corals look awesome. Not only do they look great but I can already know the corals are growing better. I'm assuming to photosynthesis my ph went to 8.35 today. I've only seen 8.3x maybe twice with the radions
