I will do the same. Mine are all midway to the bottom of my tank.
Steve yours look really nice.
I will post an update pic in mid week. This is going to be interesting to see how these guys morph from day one.

I think they like intense light too. I have my aussies all over the place and the ones in the middle are bright colors and the ones on the sides of the tank are less brighter color.

Awesome pieces guys!!! It will be very interesting to see what happens - I have mine under a 175 MH 14k at the bottom - but will be upgrading to a 250 20k in a month or so. I will keep weekly pics of mine to see how they change. Great Idea!

Well, it's only been just over two days since I moved them up, but I can see that they seem a bit brighter now. I am hoping they continue to change. I have a grade B that I decided to keep that is developing some interesting colors.

How often are you all feeding these guys? Do you think that we are feeding them too much? Maybe this could be causing them to lose their color. Is this possible? I think I will continue feeding the ones that have kept their color and stop feeding the ones that have lost it. What do you all think?

I wonder if they might come from deeper water and the lights are fading them
