Okay fellow hobbyists, question on clown hosting.

I have a small maroon clown. 1 - 1 1/4 in. I have a LTA and a toadstool leather , both of which are well large enough to host. However my clown has decided to ‘host’ the front left corner of the aquarium. My question is there anyway to change his interest from the aquarium wall to the nem or the leather.?

Sometimes you just have to wait it out.

Might have more success with an BTA for a maroon clown.

Have seen other's put a clown in a basket with a bta, but to me that would be kinda cruel.

Yea I’ll just wait it out. This hobby is all about patience anyway. It’s kinda amusing watching him love on the corner of the tank. Just hanging out up-side down. He’s a trip for sure. Thanks for the info.

Maroons are usually very quick to take a host, natural match or not, I'm sure it won't take long
