Are your rocks glued together? I actually had a Banggai cardinalfish disappear only to find it squished between two rocks at the top of my aquarium. Almost as if it lifted the rock and then it fell on it in the same place. Nothing looked out of the ordinary. Weirdest thing and of course it was in my daughter's aquarium.

No not glued but have lifed up the only one thats on top of another

I get clicking sounds all the time from my tank. I thought it was the Trochus snails repositioning...?

Both mantis and pistol shrimp make clicking/snapping sounds, usually at night.

That's how I found mine.

Well, that's good. I do have a pistol shrimp. Maybe he just likes the sound of his claw since he clicks all day too :)

What type of anemone, the only thing I know that comes with purple tips that wouldn’t fill up the whole tank is a condylactis anemone, they are cheap, about $15-20 and they very much eat fish, that would be my guess

Sorry about your fish.
I also have the same tank as well as my big one.

This is just my opinion, that wrasse should not be in that tank, I had one in my 125 G and it was constantly hunting, it will go stir crazy in there and probably become aggressive, be careful trying to add new fish.
An alternative would be a pink streak for that sized tank.
