I have a 5x2x2 and Switched from 3x Radion XR30 to 2x ATI Stratons. Love the footprint and sleekness of these units, most importantly ZERO fans!

Has great PAR but even better spread as nothing beats the actual foot print of the light source (why T5 was so dominant).

Tons of white LEDs too which are 5W each but max driven at 1.5W. So you can run as blue or white/amber as your tastes desire.

Don’t mine my UV propped on the tank. I have dino PTSD

I have a smart way of hooking up the UV in the 750 let me know if you want it out of sight!

Which setup do you like the best? Pros/cons for each?
I like the Radion ab+ and the color it gives. I ran them on my 80 growout for over a year.
The Photons are nice. App is simple, color good. Only had them for 5 months. They put out alot of par if needed. Time will tell but I have good growth on all 30+ corals and the sytem is only 5 months.

I usually have mine in the sump, but I needed it to pull water from the DT as it’s the most effective way to eradicate Ostreopsis. I haven’t takes a slide of my water recently to see if they’re gone, but I’m just leaving it to pull water from my display for another couple months before returning it in my sump to plumb in line with my return.

Yeah, it’s a huge hassle - especially when I have a controller board where everything is ziptied! It’s another reason why I haven’t moved it yet haha. I had my Stratons sitting in boxes for 6 months before I listed the Radions for sale and was forced to remove them from my tank because of the sale lol. It took me 2 hours just to remove three fixtures. Drilling into the ceiling and putting up the new lights was a breeze in comparison.

For our 375 gallon store display we went with a combination of 3 Neptune SKY and 3 Kessil 360x tuna blue. The SKY give a very T5 type spread and coverage and the kessils give us the shimmer the sky's are missing.

Since the SKY are discontinued I would probably replace with either 6 XR15s staggered or 3 XR30 and the Kessils.

Pictures are from about a year ago when we set it up.
