Just got a beautiful bubble tip anemone, placed it in my desired spot, and it put its foot down!

Unfortunately, my maxi mini carpet anemone decided that it now wants that exact spot after staying in another spot for a good 3 months.

I’m not going to try to pry it out, but any suggestions on how I can make it move? I pushed a shell into the hole so it can’t move any closer to the anemone unless it climbs out, which then I would grab it.

Right now they’re just touching, no stinging war as of right now it seems..

If you can remove the rock from the water they will usually detach themselves with the help of gravity. Or try a popsicle stick and a credit card

A popsicle stick.. wasn't expecting that!

They do seem to be brushing against each other though, and neither look unhappy. Calm before the storm?
