Yeah I will give as much space as I can in an already well stocked 40g cube. Not planning on having them side by side necesarily but with hammers on one side and shadowed "cliff" face on the other, I only have so much space.
This is an FTS of a nano in my shop - I have the 3 torches pretty much an inch apart from one another.
I typically place new torches next to each other in the tank to see if they sting or not, typically you'll notice them touch each other and then shrivel up a little bit if they cannot touch and end up stinging each other

Bare in mind, the reason for close proximity is because they’re all indo torches - if you’re not 100% sure, I’d err on the side of caution and keep at least two inches of distance between the torches. Sun God is not one I’d be willing to take a risk on losing personally.

How long have you had the Sun God? If it’s not been all that long, I’d leave it time to colour up.

I have a Torch of The Gods which has gone from almost green to a highlighter yellow.
Here’s just a comparison of I believe 3-4 months of colouring up;
It takes some fiddling with a lot of super glue, but if you keep the stem on the frag plug, you can usually use that to glue in some quite interesting and not obvious spots.Not much space as it is, but really wanted 2 torches, that being said I will give them as much space as I can.
Give it a couple of more months and see if it colours - May also be worth seeing if @VintageReefer has any thoughts on it.
I have been told glueing at an angle, and not nearly verticle can be less than ideal for euphylia because it makes the skeleton grow weird. You can zoom in on several of the torches in my tank and see creative mounting, which you could do in here as well.
As far as the coloration? This is the photo from the auction, granted I know they hyper saturate photos and have them under extreme blues. But the coral is fairly dull in comparison. Also when I first got it. Looks closer to a Dragon Soul to me. Not complaining, still beautiful, but not what I was expecting.

Maybe, but nature adapts well IMO. We'll see how mine do over the next year :)
Yes for sure, I fully plan on having them angled as thats my only real option with the rockwork I chose to go with. Hindsight the dryrock tree was less than ideal for wanting lots of euphylia, creates lots of angled surfaces and shadows.
