How cold is too cold for fish?

it’s around 67 degrees in my house and I don’t think my fish tank heater is working. I don’t have a proper thermometer but i think my tank is around there. How cold is too cold for fish?

Short term they are ok but I wouldn’t go more then a day.

Is the house heated?
Then you could up the temp a few degrees until you have a new heater.

A reminder for all of us to have spare heaters already set to our tanks. Doesn't need to be expensive for temporary use.

should be fine for awhile, too cold is better than too hot anywho. I lost power in a blizzard and my tank got to 58ish and here in the frozen north fish show up in about 55 degree water.

Not ideal but they should be okay for the night.
