Might seem like a dumb question, but how do fill your ATO (non plumbed)?

Mine is 25L+ and it sits back in my cabinet, which means I can’t just use my Jerry cans of RODI to pour directly in.

Does everyone in a similar situation set up a pump each time? Smarter way to do this that I’m not considering?

RODI unit is in the garage, with no way to plumb it.

I use one of these on my nano to go from a bucket to ato container, they're sold at most hardware stores here. - https://www.walmart.com/ip/Dyna-Glo...osene-Heater-Siphon-Pump-for-Liquids/21804883

I use a 5g bucket outside of the tank for my ato. Those Red Sea glass containers are a waste of space imo. But if I had to deal with it I’d buy a 3 liter pitcher or something n pour it in

I use a pump - from my 5 gallon jug into my 10 G ATO. I used to use a fuel pump like the one below - very effective but for some reason they always fail after about 6 - 12 months. I picked up a pump from BRS - a nice little pump but pretty slow.

No way, or difficult? heh. I will plumb mine in one day, but it requires a hole drilled thru a lot of concrete to get under the house.

That said, I use a pump and a long hose to pump rodi water from the brute in to the ATO container.

Anything is possible :) but it would require routing from one side of the house to the other and up a floor. So I'll carry 25L jerry cans instead of have my wife kill me :)

Keeping down the wife aggro is ideal!

I purchased the IM 5g reservoir that has as sliding shelf that comes out that you can pour into. Super easy!
