How do I add this DOS container level to my fusion setup? Pic

I have this setup on one of my tanks, and I can not figure out how to get it setup on the other. Any ideas? I just want to see when my kalk reservoir is low.

I am following along here; I have three DOS containers but it would be handy to know how to do it go any other container as well!

The only “official” way to add the container level is to add a ddr to your system. However there is a diy hack where you can jump two pins together on the plug on the dos to trick the apex into thinking you have a ddr connected. I have been using this trick for several years without any issues.

Apex DOS DIY level switch?

Has anyone made a DIY harness that attaches to the 6 pin connector on the DOS unit? The optical sensors used by the DDR are a simple 3 wire switch (GND, +12V, Switch Status). I assume if you know the pinout of the 6 pin connector it would be easy to add level monitoring to any container.

I'm not in dire need to know, I do run with two DDRs, its just a handy thing you know..

I considered getting a ddr for my dos, but the ddr container wouldn’t fit very well into my cabinet. I ended up using narrower and taller dosing containers and just shorted the two pins together to get the tile.

I do not have a DDR on the living room apex, and it still shows the option.

My office Apex does not show the option.

To the best of my knowledge the only way to get the tile for the dosing container is to have the ddr or use the hack. You didn’t by chance buy the dos for your living room apex used and it has a something plugged into the 6 pin plug on the side does it?
