How do I delete a attachment?

kireek · Dec 16, 2014

I have a photo attachment I would like to erase in my member tank thread. Can I do this myself or do I need to bug a MOD?

You should be able to do it. I'm going to try and walk you through it.

Click edit post.
Click advanced options.
Under Additional Options select manage attachments.
Click the X on the photo in the attachment.
Close the window.
Delete any text in the post box.
Preview changes to ensure it is gone and then post.

That is how I did for the above post. There is probably a simpler way.

Thanks for the speedy response SeahorseKeeper! When I click on manage attachments I get this:https://www.reef2reef.com/forums/newattachment.php?do=assetmanager&values[p]=2007527&editpost=1&contenttypeid=1&poststarttime=1418793846&posthash=8f7a47fdb136f775c555ba46002fb89b&insertinline=1
Maybe,I need to be an excellence member to access this option.
