So I got a RBTA last night. This morning, I found him in the MP10 guard.
How do I get him out?

I am hoping he will let go on its own. But.. what happen if he can't/won't?

This is an earlier pic of the feet

yeah when ever i get a new nem i tend to turn the flow almost all the way down or just turn the pump off for the night then back on in the morning
I should have done that.. but didn't think it was needed cause the flow at night was only 20% on lagoon mode.

Oh well.. lesson learned..

Well.. unfortunately I don't think he will survive this time.

Pulled the guard out again. Not shredded at least..
On the bright side, at least BTAs are aquacutured in abundance. It's not like it came from a wild reef and when you decide you're ready there will be plenty more to choose from. Still sucks though.

I’m glad there was a happy ending however stressful the journey was.

Also, this incident will serve as a learning opportunity for those of us who don’t yet keep a RBTA.

I was very skeptical about them. But it does seems to be ok. I didn't want to post it sooner cause the 1st week it was shrinking and when I saw the 2nd nem. It look like it was torn in 2 instead of splitting.

But its been a week or so and its recovering better than I expected
